In a joint project, Our Research & Development team starts to research on Pipeline Distributed Sensing Systems. In this system a fiber optic cable is used as a distributed sensor to continuously measure strain and temperature along the entire length of a pipeline.
Based on these measurements the system could detect:
- Pipeline Leaks
- Intrusions
- Ground movement along the pipeline
